DAY 1 - Airport Pick up

You will be picked by your safari guide at Entebbe international airport, check in at your hotel in Entebbe for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2 - Birding in Entebbe and its Environments

You will be driven from your hotel by our guide for an early bird searching excursion in Garuga and around Africa’s largest lake; Lake Victoria. While on the search, pay attention for; • White-headed Barbets • Blue Monarch • Fain-tailed Widow bird • African Pied hornbill • Diederik’s Cuckoo • White-headed Barbets • Striped Kingfisher • Black Bishop, along with others. After lunch, you will head to home of caged animals, the Uganda Wildlife Education center. There are more than 250 bird species in the educational-intergenerational center, these include the; • ostriches • unusual shoebill stork • parrots and the species of weavers, for example the; • Orange Weaver • The unusual Northern-Masked Weaver. Transfer to Kampala for dinner and over at your Hotel

DAY 3 - Kampala – Queen Elizabeth National Park

Head off to Queen Elizabeth national park after your breakfast. Have a stop to buy souvenir and take photographs at the Equator. Proceed for lunch in Mbarara before driving to the southwest through the great western rift valley that is branded with a variety of birds. You may see different birds and animals most particularly the antelopes and warthogs on your way as you drive into Queen Elizabeth national park on your arrival in the evening. Check in at your hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 4 - Birding in Queen Elizabeth National Park

Embark on an early morning drive, after breakfast. You will see both the wild animals and the different bird species in the game park. Different birds can be seen from the open grassy plains and among these are: • the White Abdims Stork • Whalbergs Eagle • Saddle billed stork • Africa’s harrier-hawk • Bateleur • Grey Kestrel • The Marsha Eagle among others. Return for lunch at the lodge before heading for a launch cruise on the Kazinga channel were you will see various animals like large groups of hippos and elephants together with migratory birds among which are the; • White-winged black Terns • Great white and Pink-Backed Pelicans • Grey headed Gulls • African skimmers • Water Dikkops • The Morning Dove among others. Dinner and overnight at your lodge for the second night.

DAY 5 - Queen Elizabeth – Lake Bunyonyi

you will set off from the renowned Queen Elizabeth national park to the unfrequented “Switzerland of Africa” located in the hilly Kabale region. This region is renowned for having the deepest lake in Africa; Lake Bunyonyi. The terrain is characterized by twenty small islands that are surrounded by steep cultivated terraced hills in addition to the stunning Lake Bunyonyi. Check in at your booked hotel for lunch. Hire an afternoon motor boat to Bushara Island to enjoy the Scenery of the magnificent terraced hills of kigezi and a variety of bird species. Retire for dinner and relaxation at the lodge.

DAY 6 - Lake Bunyonyi

You will relax, explore and watch birds on the beautiful lake bunyonyi the whole day and traverse its Islands on a hired boat or canoe having lunch at the hotel. You will visit the punishment island called the Akampene, where the Bakiga dumped unmarried girls who got pregnant as a lesson to other youngsters. Strangers that could not afford dowry sometimes picked the girls and while the rest were left to die on the island. You will also see a number of birds like • Scarlet-chested • Swamp Flycatcher • White-headed Saw-wing • African Hobby • Red-chested Sunbirds • Bronze • the Black Kite During the nature walk in Mukoni Village. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 7 - Lake Bunyonyi to Kampala and transfer to Entebbe international Airport

Through the beautiful rural sides of the country gifted with nature, you will head to Kampala after breakfast with en-route lunch reaching Kampala and transferring to Entebbe on time for your flight back home.
