The Ssese Islands are an archipelago of eighty-four islands in the northwestern part of Lake Victoria in Uganda. The islands are coterminous with the Kalangala District in southern Central Uganda, which does not have any territory on mainland Uganda.

DAY 1 - Arrival and Transfer to your hotel

On arrival, our staff will be there to welcome you and take you to your hotel to rest and prepare for the adventure. If you arrive before 1600 hours local time, we shall take you for an entertainment depending on the events of the day. Dinner and over night at a booked hotel.

DAY 2 - Entebbe- Ssese Islands

After breakfast, depart from your Hotel and get to Nakiwogo in the morning, you travel by ferry to Bugala Islands. Feel the fresh breeze as you sail across the second biggest fresh water body in the world, Lake Victoria which offers you sightings of several islands, white sand beaches for swimming and sun downing all to be met at your hotel. Other attractions include vervet and Colobus monkeys, a variety of bird species and lots of butterflies. Lunch, dinner and overnight at a booked lodge.

DAY 3 - Transfer to Entebbe

Enjoy morning breakfast and be transferred back to Entebbe by the same ferry at 8.00 o’clock where you will be driven back to Uganda Wildlife Education Centre (UWEC), formerly called the Entebbe Zoo which a fun and exciting place to learn about a variety of animals. Mammals at the centre include Otters, Lions, Leopards and White rhinos; Primates include Patas monkeys, Vervet monkeys, and Chimpanzees. Reptiles include the African rock python, Crocodiles, Monitor lizards, and Cobras; and bird species include the rare Shoebill, the Egyptian goose, the helmeted guinea fowl, the African fish eagle, the Grey crested crane, and the potted Eagle owl to mention but a few. There is also an impressive array of vegetation. Visitor facilities at the UWEC include guided tours, the gift shop, the information centre, children’s discovery area. Lunch at UWEC, Dinner and overnight at a booked hotel.

DAY 4 - Departure
